| Comments | Dr. Cherian Kunianthodath, CMI, wrote this bhajan for the LP record. The lyricist relied heavily on Sanskrit epithets of the divine Lord. Such a prayer vocabulary was already familiar to the practitioners of Indian liturgy at Dharamam College and NBCLC in Bengaluru. Fr. Thomas Kandathil, CMI (1942-2012), composed a simple melody in a call-response style. Despite its relative simplicity, the bhajan did not gain much popularity.
